Make 30° chamfer and bevel cuts with this chamfer Router bit. This bit can be used with stock up to 15/16" thick. Two flute carbide cutters and 1/2" shank diameter. While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create mitre joints of various angles. Some of the available angle degrees are 11.25°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° & 45°. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create mitre joints of 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° & 90° degrees respectively.
